Long detailed post with updates, learning and roadmap (interesting things coming)
It's been a month since I launched the v3 of supersaas.dev, and customers are genuinely loving it. I've received tons of messages saying how good it is and how they are using it.
The community has been one of the best things to come out of supersaas, so many helpful suggestions, and some members have gone above and beyond by helping build features or even making PRs themselves.
What's happened since then?
45+ new customers: 286 in total.
Made a little over $35000 (~₹30L)
New demo app: A beautiful file manager with a rich preview pane
App-only mode: Some folks wanted to skip the /dashboard route and use Supersaas purely as an app - no marketing stuff. So I made a separate branch for it.
Improved ESLint support: Dropped Prettier in favor of ESLint Stylistic, since Nuxt officially recommends it and supports it well. (Thanks to Colin for this contribution!)
Smarter slug/team URL creation: The app now checks if a user already belongs to a team with a similar slug and auto-suggests a new one. (Thanks to Joe Elia for this!)
Better feedback management: Replies from super admins now include the original message from the author.
Improved teams and invitations UI - A separate table to invitations accepted
Stripe sync updates: From super admin, you can now delete plans and use many other improvements.
Better payment flow: The UI now shows users how long their plan remains active if they cancel.
Login notifications: Now shows the city and country (only in the NuxtHub version)
Tons of minor fixes and improvements
Demo update: I also added the Nuxtra template to demo.supersaas.dev so users will know how to integrate the template to supersaas.
Not related to supersaas, but I also made a ton of really interesting tools on the supersaas.dev website, you can check them out here.
I have also started writing on the blog, sharing tips and updates, do check out the website.
What's coming?
Improving folder structure even more using Nuxt Layers. This is a big change but worth the effort.
Polar integration for payments is in progress. I paused it to finish the Layers work first - Polar will be a Nuxt Layer as well.
A "Solo User" version of SuperSaaS is coming (very) soon - not everyone needs teams.
Super admin panel will get new features like pagination, search, and export.
I am in need of a broadcast email feature. Still figuring out the right way to handle this. Resend has a broadcast option, but this is platform specific, so I need a way to make this in a way that works for all.
Future plans
API key access: Users will be able to generate API keys to access their data.
JWT client option: Create your own SuperSaaS client with JWT auth.
I might make a react version as well, react folks have been asking around.
I'm going to keep making it better.
Thanks for all the support.
