About the Role

You will be a backend engineer in the Autonomous Vehicles Cloud team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing backend services and convert product requirements into reliable and scalable implementations.


What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

  1. Work on backend services for an external cloud portal.

  2. Write good documentations for external users.

  3. Build internal dashboard to visualize critical metrics.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. Bachelor degree in computer science or related fields.

  2. 1 year of professional experience in software engineering.

  3. Experience with Go, Python.

  4. Experience in MySQL, ORM.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  1. 3 years of experience in software engineering.

  2. Proficient with Go, Python.

  3. Strong communication skills, sense of ownership, execution and engineering quality.

  4. Experience in the Autonomous Vehicles industry.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$150,000 per year - USD$158,000 per year.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
