Profound is an NYC-based AI startup helping brands measure and improve their visibility in AI platforms such as ChatGPT. We partner with some of the biggest brands and marketing agencies, including companies like MongoDB, Indeed, Mercury, DocuSign, Zapier, Ramp, Rho, Golin, Workable, Mejuri, Eight Sleep, G2, US Bank, Chime, and Clay.

We recently raised a $20 million Series A led by Kleiner Perkins with participation from NVIDIA, Khosla Ventures, Saga Ventures, South Park Commons, and SV Angel, as well as angel investors including Guillermo Rauch (Vercel) and Andrew Karam (Applovin).

Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. As a Product Designer, you’ll own the end-to-end design of sleek, high-performance AI-driven experiences. You’ll define how companies interact with and shape their AI presence, crafting intuitive interfaces that balance aesthetics with powerful functionality.

What You’ll Do

• Design intuitive, business-impacting products that help companies control their AI presence.

• Develop and refine UX flows that make complex AI insights clear and actionable.

• Own the visual design of our products, ensuring pixel-perfect execution and consistency.

• Work closely with engineering to ship high-fidelity designs that perform flawlessly.

• Use data, research, and iteration to continuously improve user experiences.

  
  

Who You Are

• A strong portfolio showcasing business-impactful product design work. Expertise in UX, with a deep understanding of user flows, interaction design, and usability.

• A sharp eye for visual design, typography, and layout—you bring a refined aesthetic to every detail.

• Experience designing data-rich or AI-driven interfaces is a plus.

• Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-performance startup environment.

This is an on-site role in our Union Square office—designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and impact.
