UX Design Intern

What you’ll do

• Work on projects that impact the business and contribute to Transcarent’s mission of better health and care, specifically in the growth and engagement space.

• Learn how to use a design system to design and validate new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artifacts for our cloud-based applications

• Gain exposure to collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers to create delightful, effortless experiences for our users.

• Be exposed to how our Product, Design, and Engineering Team operates 

• You'll have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout your internship period

What we’re looking for

Our Ideal Candidate...

• Is a self-starter and is skilled in identifying issues and developing solutions.

• Proficiency in Figma and Figjam

• Communication skills presenting designs and articulating design decisions

• Proficiency in prototyping

• Has a passion for healthcare and is inquisitive about the various ways we can improve the delivery of health and care.

• Is able to dedicate 40-hours a week for a duration of 12 weeks.

About Our Internship Program

Program Details:

•  Duration: May 26 – August 14

•  Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (role dependent) we do not provide relocation assistance

•  Benefits: Internship roles are not eligible for Full-Time employee benefits

•  Work Authorization: Candidates must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. — we are unable to provide sponsorship or work authorization for this position

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity. 

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.
