Intermediate Software Engineer (Fullstack - Lead)

Salary: ₹1.25-1.4 lakh/month
Location: Hybrid (Gurgaon)

Role Overview

SeaBuddy is creating happier, healthier voyages by delivering research-backed tools for crew well-being and culture at sea. As our Lead Software Engineer, you’ll own the architecture and development of multi-tenant mobile and web applications that power this mission. You’ll guide technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure our platform scales to fleets worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build multi-tenant SaaS apps using React Native (Expo), Node.js, and SQL databases.

• Design backend APIs and schemas optimized for performance and resilience.

• Collaborate with product and psychology experts to translate crew well-being needs into technical features.

• Mentor junior engineers, conduct reviews, and enforce best practices.

• Implement offline-first capabilities for low-connectivity maritime environments.

• Integrate with Cloudflare stack for secure, edge-optimized delivery.

Requirements

• ~3 years of fullstack development experience.

• Strong expertise in React Native (Expo), Next.js, Node.js, SQL.

• Experience building SaaS or multi-tenant applications.

• Bonus: exposure to offline-first architectures or Cloudflare services.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
