Scopely is looking for a Software Engineer  to join The Looney Tunes team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

What You’ll Do


  • You have a proven understanding of web and mobile stacks building critical application features using industry-standard engineering best practices. You have experience working with large scale applications. You are a hardworking and high energy worker, who thrives on being in a vibrant, creative and lively work environment, building the back-end systems that power the games that millions of people play every day!

  • Work with team members to craft, build and maintain new/existing features and products

  • Define engineering best practices Provide production support, system diagnosis and solving

  • Support and be a critical part of our DevOps culture


What We’re Looking For


  • 2+ years of software development experience

  • Experience and skilled with Java/J2EE, including Spring and Hibernate

  • Experience working on applications using SOA, REST design principles

  • Experience working with scalable architectures and environment

  • Experience with performance testing and tuning applications

  • Experience working on multi-threaded applications

  • Strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms

  • A flexible self-starter who thrives on the challenges of working with new and varied technologies

  • Strong understanding of design/programming best-practices and various design patterns

  • Experience working in scrum/agile teams

  • Strong communication skills

  • Bachelor's Degrees in Computer Science or work experience equivalent

Bonus Points

  • Experience and skilled with cloud-based services, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Experience with Mongo DB

  • Experience working in the games industry

  • Love playing games
