The Fullstack Software Engineer in the Expense Product pillar plays a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our AI-driven expense management software. This role is central to developing an innovative platform that empowers account admins, tax administrators, and administrators to efficiently manage, review, adjust, expense data for accounting purposes. The Accountant Expense product pillar is central to our mission, offering a complete, streamlined platform that fully supports the accounting persona, including their workflows, the ability to reconcile and map financial data, and finally, integrate with various client accounting systems, whether through direct API connections or other innovative means.
Develop Best-in-Class, Accountant-Centric Solutions: Drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge, secure, and efficient engineering solutions in the frontend and backend.
Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage AI, creating a best-in-class platform that is intuitive and purpose-built for managing Expense data and supporting the Accountant persona.
Technically own problem domain: facilitate design, development, and launch of key microservices in the domain.
Ensure Financial Data Trust and Seamless Integration: Rigorously safeguard the integrity and security of critical financial data essential for Accounting.
Master the complex configuration for seamless integration with diverse client accounting systems, ensuring flawless, high-performance Expense workflows and staying ahead of industry trends.
At least 2 years of experience in software development
At least 3 years of experience in FE development using Angular, typescript, and React.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems serving developers and/or end users
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to data integration and synchronization.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with customers.
Attention to Detail: Precision in handling financial data and ensuring accurate integration into various systems.
Ability to be an innovative problem solver that can turn ambiguous problem spaces into clear solutions, and comfort with new technology and thinking outside the box to develop and implement solutions
Nice to have: Experience with Accounting Systems: Knowledge of common ERP and accounting systems, their data structures, and how they manage financial transactions.
In-depth experience with Java, Spring Boot and AWS is a plus
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
