About this Opportunity
Hook's mission is to drive customer growth and revenue prediction whilst empowering subscription businesses with machine learning and artificial intelligence in order to help them improve customer loyalty and revenue generation from existing customers.
We’re a Series A company who ranked 33 out of 100 on the Sifted fastest growing startups and we have raised $multi-million in funding from some of the top investors in Europe and the US (e.g. Balderton Capital and Lightspeed) and have an enviable list of customers that we’re working with including some of the fastest growing companies in the world. We’re looking for ambitious people that want to be part of our meaningful vision of changing how businesses engage with their customers, and of building one of the world’s leading workplaces for great people along the way.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how customers experience our product, working closely with our Lead Product Designer and engineers to take ideas from concept through to polished execution. From untangling complex workflows to refining the smallest UI detail, you’ll help us deliver a product that feels effortless and genuinely loved by Customer Success teams.
Work across the entire product design process, from early discovery and sketching through to delivering polished, production-ready designs.
Collaborate closely with engineers and product leadership to define problems, explore solutions, and ship features quickly.
Create prototypes and mockups to explore ideas, test assumptions, and refine solutions.
Conduct lightweight customer research and feedback sessions to inform and iterate designs.
Help manage and prioritise the product backlog, writing tickets and ensuring smooth handoff to engineering.
Uphold brand standards and visual quality across the product, using our design system.
Contribute to wider design needs across the company — from onboarding flows to marketing assets and internal tools.
You’re an experienced product designer with strength across both UX and visual design, backed up by a portfolio that shows it.
You know how to balance curiosity and pragmatism — evidence-led in your approach, but able to move quickly when needed.
You’re comfortable working independently with a high degree of autonomy, but collaborative and open to feedback.
You communicate design thinking clearly to engineers and customer-facing teams.
You’re adaptable and flexible, just as happy designing complex workflows as you are polishing a landing page or sales asset.
