Software Engineer

We’re looking for a mission-driven Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team. If you want to play a key role in scaling a new, innovative business through design, this is the position for you. This role is responsible for working on building the Bild web and desktop applications. You will have direct access to leadership across the organization.

What you will do

• Implement new features in the Bild platform using ReactJS/NodeJS

• Gather and incorporate feedback from teammates and stakeholders

• Collaborate with other developers and designers to improve usability

• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

• Perform end-end testing to deliver the best product

• Play a key role in shaping the future of Bild

Who you are

• 2+ years professional experience as a software engineer

• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, browser testing and debugging

• Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, SCSS and Redux is a plus

• Experience with automated testing is a plus

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and making decisions without all the answers in front of you

• Experience in B2B products, and productivity/communication tools

• Comfortable defining success metrics and making data-informed decisions
