About this Opportunity
EmailOctopus is a simple, intuitive and affordable email marketing platform, trusted by global brands like Jaguar Land Rover as well as local names such as Outbreak Festival and Kendall Calling. As a small team making a big impact, we help our users send more than 10 billion emails each year. We’re passionate about the power of email marketing to help small businesses thrive, and we’re on a mission to become the world’s easiest email marketing platform.
We are looking for a Product Designer to join a small, fast-moving team, working end-to-end across research, wireframing and prototyping, with a focus on making our platform as intuitive and easy to use as possible.
In addition to design, you’ll play a role in shaping what we build. You’ll collaborate closely with our leadership and customer success teams to uncover customer problems before translating them into elegant solutions.
You’ll help steer projects like improving our email builder, refreshing the dashboard and exploring how AI can make email marketing easier for our users. You’ll bring fresh ideas, a strong product sense and a passion for creating simple, familiar user experiences.
We’re looking for someone who will:
Lead design projects end-to-end, from early discovery through to polished Figma prototypes.
Translate customer insights and business needs into clear, intuitive product experiences.
Run lean testing and validation to refine solutions quickly.
Collaborate closely with engineers, leadership and customer success to shape product direction.
Contribute to our evolving design system and ensure consistency across the platform.
Be open to showcasing their design expertise across the business, from product and UX through to brand or marketing assets.
Strong portfolio showcasing product design work from research through to final UI
Experience with modern design tools (e.g. Figma) and design systems
A willingness to run lean research and usability testing processes
Comfortable making trade-offs and balancing user needs with business goals
Passion for simplicity and clarity in user experience
Self-motivated and comfortable working with autonomy in a small team
UK-based with the right to work and available to work 2-days per week in the London office.
Experience designing for SaaS or B2B platforms
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
Experience contributing to roadmaps or helping prioritise product opportunities
Interest in emerging technologies like AI and how they can shape user experience

£1,000 annual personal learning budget
Generous equipment budget
