About the Role 

Clari is looking for Software Engineers who are passionate about building groundbreaking AI-driven enterprise-grade applications using leading-edge cloud technologies. In this role, you'll join our Conversational Intelligence team, developing systems to capture and process conversations, and enable advanced AI features with state-of-the-art models. You'll build highly scalable applications that deliver valuable insights from vast amounts of data.

Responsibilities

• Own the development/improvement of products and features

• Participate in large-scale design updates and rollouts

• Work closely with product managers and architects to drive innovation that will shape the future roadmap

• Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews

• Build new features to help solve real world customer problems and help our customers realize success

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience developing backend applications, with strong proficiency in Python 

• Solid understanding of scalable backend architectures

• Good knowledge of SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)

• Comfortable working in Kubernetes-based environments and deploying applications in the cloud (AWS preferred)

• Understanding of multi-threading, data replication, and cloud-native design patterns

• Proven ability to deliver reliable, data-driven applications at scale

• Experience with or exposure to media processing, real-time recording, or audio/video pipeline development is a strong plus

• Experience with Node.js is a plus
