We’re looking for a Data Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience working with real-world data. This opportunity is ideal for students, recent graduates, and career changers who have completed a degree, bootcamp, or self-guided learning in data-related fields and are looking to apply their skills in a professional setting. You’ll work on data-driven projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop technical and analytical expertise.

This is a full-time, 12-week internship that will start in June 2025.


How You’ll Contribute:


  • Assist with data collection, cleaning, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Support data analysis and visualization to uncover trends and insights.

  • Help build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like SQL, Python, and QuickSight.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve data challenges and contribute to decision-making.

  • Test and Document data processes, methodologies.

  • Document and present key findings.


Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:


  • A student, recent graduate, or career changer with a background in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, OR someone who has completed a data bootcamp or self-study program.

  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, or BI tools (through coursework, projects, bootcamps, or self-learning).

  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a passion for solving problems using data.

  • Comfortable working with numbers, identifying patterns, and translating data into insights.

  • Strong communication skills—able to explain findings in a clear and actionable way.


Nice to Have:


  • Experience working with AWS 

  • Experience working with healthcare data

  • Predicting specific types of health service utilization

  • Interpolation of missing data elements

  • Ingesting and understanding machine readable price transparency files

  • Visualizing and communicating savings opportunities to clients and prospects
