Software Engineer

THE PROBLEMS YOU'LL SOLVE

As a software engineer, you’ll be responsible for the architecture and implementation of the essential technical machinery that makes our platform function. You’ll work across our client-side SDKs and our cloud-based back end, collaborating with AI and user experience engineers to ensure that everything we build is scalable, efficient, and maintainable.

Your Responsibilities could include:

• Creating scalable, reliable and efficient containerized backend services.

• Designing and implementing efficient, easy to use client SDKs for game developers.

• Developing workflows and automation that help other engineers work efficiently.

• Building systems that can perform low latency ingestion, analysis and indexing of high volume data sets.

THE SKILLS YOU'LL NEED

We’re looking for engineers who like to understand and design systems end-to-end, who are excited about designs that consider both client and cloud requirements. As a key engineer on a small team, your designs should favor simplicity, scalability, and maintainability, and you should be excited about designing in collaboration with other engineers.

You'll do well in this role if:

• You are comfortable writing production code in Python, C++ and C#.

• You have experience building containerized applications and/or and SDKs for game engines.

• You enjoy designing, writing, and deploying full stack software systems.

• You like to learn how unfamiliar software systems work and don’t mind diving into and debugging code that you didn’t write.
