Software Engineering Intern [Summer 2026]

The Role:

We’re hiring Summer Interns to help build out the front and back-end of a0.dev. We’re looking for someone passionate about mobile app development who’s excited about building a platform to help millions of developers create mobile app businesses using AI.

The Internship will take place from June - September (depending on your summer schedule)

What You’ll do:

Tasks may include:

• Implementing new front-end features in Next.JS for the a0.dev website to help users create and update their mobile apps.

• Rigorously testing the a0.dev app creation process and identifying bugs in our platform

• Creating and launching your own mobile apps using a0.dev that make it to the app store and earn money

• Enhancing and fine-tuning our back-end AI models to generate cleaner, more efficient React Native code for use in the a0.dev platform

What We’re Looking for:

• Someone with strong Typescript and Next.JS Experience

• Willing to work 5 days/week in-person in San Francisco

• Strong communication skills

• High Agency: Able to figure things out without much hand-holding

• Good Vibes and Startup Energy: We’re a small scrappy team looking for someone who’s excited about our mission, able to move fast, and fits well with our team.

Bonus Points:

• Experience developing and shipping mobile apps to the App Store / Play Store.

• React Native Experience

• Supabase / Postgres Experience
