I’m the indie maker behind Z.Tools.

I started building it because I kept running into the same problem: too many small tasks, too many tabs, too many random utility sites.

Convert a file. Compress a PDF. Share something between devices. Pull clean text out of a PDF. Remove an image background. None of these are hard problems, but doing them smoothly still felt weirdly annoying.

So I started putting the tools I personally wanted into one place.

Z.Tools is basically my attempt to build a fast, useful toolbox for everyday internet work — across documents, media, text, dev tasks, design, and a few AI workflows where AI actually helps.

A few examples:

• P2P file sharing

• OCR to Markdown

• Background removal

• AI image generation

A lot of the product has been shaped by scratching my own itch, but I’m very aware that what feels useful to me may not be the same for everyone else.

So I’d really love blunt feedback:

• Which tool feels genuinely useful right away?

• Which ones feel unnecessary?

• What small tool do you wish existed but still can’t find anywhere?
