i'm dumb so i read web to become smart, but i'm so dumb that i've to copy text & ask ChatGPT/Claude while reading web.

now i am very annoyed because i've to tell it the url for context, and then copy the snippet i wanna ask about. repeat. repeat. fml!

introducing Ask my AI, because YOU want to use YOUR Claude/ChatGPT, not some stupid LLM API that you again have to pay for!

• no setup, no API keys, nothing

how it works:

1. select some text

2. press cmd/ctrl+shift+E

3. opens AI in sidebar and pastes the selected text with website context

supports 8+ AIs including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek and more.

privacy note: zero servers involved. your data goes directly to whichever ai you choose. i literally can't see anything you're doing with it
