TU Share Android Application

Knowledge is power. You cant begin a career and succeed in life unless you gain sufficient knowledge for that. Knowledge is gained by accessing information. But simply gaining information is not sufficient. We gain more by sharing information and not by hoarding it. TU Share is an android based application that provides a platform for Information Sharing. It is basically for sharing lecture notes, subject presentations, tutorial sheets, syllabus, course content, e-books related to the course among students of Thapar University. Many times during examinations, quizzes and evaluations, Student face difficulties in finding the content from which they can consult for their course. Sometimes there is no course website and they have to search in their mails for the course content sent by their instructor. Sometimes even if the course site is there, it isnt updated regularly or the students are not aware of the course site. This application also obsoletes the requirement of a course website and sending emails manually to students . All the instructor have to do is create an id in the application and upload all the course content there from which students can access the content. It also helps the student in case of missed lectures. When a student misses a lecture he can contact his classmates to share their notes. They can upload the class notes and the student downloads them into his application. Once they have downloaded, the student can access them whenever he wants. This application is both for student to student content sharing as well as faculty to student sharing.
